A music video written and produced by Watertown native Cory Zimmermann makes its debut at Watertown High School Saturday evening. The premiere culminated a nearly three year production effort, which will ultimately benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society through sales generated by the song and video. Inspired by a close friend's bout and eventual recovery from cancer, Zimmermann wrote the song and organized the event in an effort to raise awareness regarding advancements in the treatment of the disease, as well as generate income for research. A portion of the video was filmed in Watertown last year. Zimmermann, right, and Peter Dale perform the song during the premiere. A silent auction and raffle augmented proceeds from the debut, which raised almost $6,000 for the society. (John Hart/Daily Times)
