THIS TIME TOMORROW FOUNDATION

RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS

Holiday Walmart Surprise

On Sunday, December 22nd, This Time Tomorrow Foundation (TTTF) we gathered thirteen unsuspecting cancer patients who have been nominated by their loved ones to receive a TTTF Random Act of Kindness (RAK) from the Foundation at the Muskego WALMART SUPERCENTER. Once all the guests of honor arrived, TTTF revealed why they were there, and award each individual with a check for $3,000 to defray some of the financial burden cancer brings. The Muskego WALMART SUPERCENTER has also generously donated a 50" HDTV for every RAK nominee.

“This is the perfect time of year to reach out and help as many families as we can fight this terrible disease,” said Cory Zimmermann, President & Co-Founder of TTTF.

After the RAKs were awarded, the event transformed into a pop-up performance by Mai Bloomfield and Willy Porter. Bloomfield is a Los Angeles-based artist who performed at the organization’s Annual Storytellers’ gala in November as TTTF’s 2019 Featured Artist. At the event, she premiered an original song - “Three Little Words” - written about her experience with breast cancer. The song was performed at the gala by Bloomfield, Jason Mraz and Raining Jane. Proceeds from the song benefit TTTF. Listen to “Three Little Words” here.

Willy Porter has been a long time supporter of the foundation and the TTTF’s 2016 Featured Artist.

Porter Nickerson

2016-2017 Featured Artist  -  8

Porter Nickerson are a duo that embody the best of what live music has to offer: heart, grit, and the kind of raw mu-sicianship that transforms listeners into long-time fans. Willy Porter’s seering finger-picking guitar style deftly blends with Carmen Nickerson’s lush vocals to create an unforgettable sound that resonates long after the last chord fades.

"Willy plays rhythms that make me want to crawl inside his guitar and sleep there forever." — Tori Amos
