KINDNESS

KNOCKS

BACK

A cinematic short about the unseen battles people face—and the healing that begins when someone simply shows up.

When a routine doctor’s visit turns into a life-altering cancer diagnosis, one person’s world quietly unravels. Days blur together in a haze of disbelief and fear—until an unexpected knock at the door changes everything.

Told with quiet power and emotional honesty, Kindness Knocks Back captures the moment hope finds its way back through the simplest act of compassion.

Written and directed by Cory Zimmermann, starring José Urquiza, with an original score and sound design by Island Styles—this film is a moving reminder that when pain knocks you down, kindness always knocks back.
